As a scout you are encouraged to try new adventurous activities. Its all about learning who you are. At the end of September, twelve scouts went Parascending with Greater London South West (GLSW) & Surrey Scout Paragliding club. During September we have seen a lot of rain, however, as Saturday arrived the wind died down and a beautiful sunny September day arrived.
All the scouts were a little nervous as they practiced their landing rolls and got ready for their first flight. We expected that some might decide this was there last – but no – all of them wanted to go again and again and again. When asked a few days later who would go again – all hands shot up!
