We had a great day at the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford. I will let the words of some of those who attended tell you more.

I had an amazing day. The air displays were even more incredible than I imagined they would be and I particularly enjoyed seeing the B52 and U2 up close on the ground. Thanks to all of the leaders for taking me. — Lewis

It was amazing how the pilots have so much courage to do tricks and spins without a single mistake. I enjoyed seeing the aircraft and being able to go onboard them and speak to the pilots.  So many shops and food places there, it is an amazing experience. –— Chloe

Air Tattoo was the best experience I’ve ever had! I learned a lot from the workshops activities, and I was really amazed by the pilots’ skills in the air show. I tried the VR experience and I realised how difficult it is to be a pilot –- Stefan

The Air Tattoo was a very interesting and fun event. At the Air Tattoo there were multiple things going on, such as aircrafts taking off, stands where you could buy stuff, Ferris Wheel and educational stands. The Red Arrows took off and had smoke coming out in the Union Jack colours and that personally was one of my favourites. — Bel

The Red Arrows were definitely my favourite attraction –- Henry

I really enjoyed seeing the Red Arrows displays and formations. Most of the plane engines were very loud though — Matthew

I really enjoyed going inside the C17 from Canada and talking to the technician. The best part of the display was watching the Chinnock carrying a Howitzer. – A scout

I really enjoyed it; my favourite part was when the red arrows flew. Thanks to the scouts for this opportunity — Anon
